Jean Crewin plays in the stairwell, where the acoustic sounds ricochet off the walls and the metal and plaster to make the apartment building on 5th Avenue sing.

This drawing started off as a reminiscent doodle of a doodle done in my notebook a year ago: [link]
Anyway, what obviously started off as jsut a doodle turned into a final sketch that I couldn't stop drawing (I loved drawing it so much)

I printed it out and did some color tests, got those critiqued by several artists at my school, then colored this final piece that you see here.
I dont think I've ever gone this far to completion with any other drawing before. It's bizaar.

Really, I'm not that great at coming up with my own backgrounds, and I wanted to establish a good source of light.

This was done entirely in Prismacolor marker and white pencil/gel pen
